Out Of My Comfort Zone Again… :)

Hey There!

Well today I decided to visit some advertising resources I have let go for a whileΒ , I was very busy with CTP competitions. I have been reevaluating my advertising and the result’s I have been getting. And sad to say I think because I use the same places day in and day out my results are falling short of what I expected. πŸ™

So today, I am working on mailers and traffic exchanges that don’t have anything to do with CTP That I have forgotten about. πŸ™‚ Over the next few days I plan on getting all my accounts reinstated and working in my favor again. This time I am focused on a daily schedule.

Monday will be CTP and team stuff
Tuesday will be strictly for mailers for 6 hours
Wednesday Touch base again with the team and CTP
Thursday will be for all the Traffic exchanges that I put aside
Friday will be email marketing with all my responders
Saturday and Sunday I will spend doing what I want.

Now I am hoping that I can increase my results and be satisfied with my new plan.

So Being in that uncomfortable place again is a force to be reckoned with, it will make or break you. And I am not one to be broken, I might go down at times but I will pull my head out of my booty and get back at it. Im not perfect and don’t pretend to be, but I could be powerful if I let myself be. πŸ™‚

Have a Great Day πŸ™‚

In the lilt of Irish laughter you can hear the angels sing,

3 List Building Essentials For Entrepreneurs

The money is in the list.

Having an email list is a surefire way to make more sales.

You have probably heard it said online: the money is in the list.

And it is.

Having an email list is a surefire way to make more sales because the people on your email list are there because they like what you are talking about and they want to hear from you.

These same people are more than likely to purchase something from you.

The problem is that many authors and entrepreneurs have no idea on how to grow a list, or, how to cultivate that list once it has grown.

List building and nurturing is an ongoing process; and if done properly, could catapult your income.

There are three things you need to have in place if you plan to grow your list to a size that will spell massive profits for you.

You should aim to get at least 500 people on your list.

In the eyes of some internet marketers, that may seem like a small number, but, it is a good starting point for someone brand new to marketing a business online.

You don’t want anybody on your list, your goal is to only get targeted people to subscribe to your list; people who have a problem that you have the solution to.

In the online marketing world, a list is crucial to the growth of your business.

And many of us who have internet based businesses, rely on paid email marketing platforms to host our lists, such as Aweber, Getresponse, Ontraport, and Infusion Soft.

Because we pay based on the number of subscribers, no one wants to waste their money having dead leads on their list.

What are dead leads?

Dead leads are people who never open your emails, or respond to any of your emails that ask them to submit a response.

Even if you use a free email marketing platform, such as MailChimp, you are still limited to only 2,000 subscribers.

That may seem like a lot, but, no one wants to waste time talking to a bunch of people who aren’t completely interested in what you have to say.

You can’t make any money from your list if your list never opens your messages.

But that is for another article.

In this article, I want to let you know the importance of having an email list.

I visit the sites of many authors and entrepreneurs on a daily basis, and one of the things I see is the lack of list building activities.

It could be because the concept of building a list is not really emphasized, especially among authors.

There are three things you need in order to build a list of people who are at least interested in whatever it is that you might be selling:

  1. A landing page
  2. An offer
  3. An opt-in form

When people come to your site, you need to offer them something so that you can get their name and email address. If they came to your site, it is obvious that you must have something that they want. Why not keep in touch with them, so that you can continue to share other things that they may be interested in, and eventually purchase.

Offering something for free, like sample chapters, video course, book trailer, audio books, whatever it may be, gives you the chance to collect the names and email addresses of people who you can now build a relationship with.

Remember, people buy from those that they know, like and trust.

If that person is you, they will buy what you are selling.

Your landing page can be a page on your website, or a simple opt-in form that you design in your email marketing software. It’s simply the page that people will land on to learn that you have a free offer.

Then, of course, there is your actual offer.

What is something of value that you would be willing to give away for free, in exchange for the potential to earn more money by adding the person a list?

If you haven’t already, and you are serious about being successful with your eBooks, or your own online business, I would strongly advise you to start building an email list.

The sooner you start, the better.

Using Splash Pages and Lead Capture Pages

Splash pages and lead capture pages are probably the strongest advertising resource in your arsenal when promoting on traffic exchanges. Quality splash or capture pages can amount to thousands of highly targeted opt-in mailing leads for your online business, and way too many people overlook the value of these powerful web pages.

A quality Splash page is basically a page with a graphic illustrating the business or service your promoting. The graphic is designed to generate interest in your business. When clicked, the visitor is brought to your sales letter and pitched your opportunity. Splash pages are arguably the most effective online tool for promoting on high speed traffic exchanges. A couple for reasons for this are because they are fast loading, convey a powerful message, and are compatible with basically any browser.

A capture page works on the same idea as a splash page, but many times a capture page will contain text. Usually a mini-sales letter, and a forum where a visitor will type in contact information. Usually a name, email address, and sometimes phone number. Capture pages are great because you capture visitor information before the prospect is able to view the full details of your website. What this means, is even if the visitor isn’t interested in the promotion they are viewing, you can still market them other products and services at a later time. This can extremely powerful for your business as well as your list building efforts.

The power of traffic exchanges should never be overlooked, as they can build lists and generate prospects faster then any other advertising tool on the internet. You must use the traffic exchange correctly however, and realize that that your only objective on a traffic exchange is to generate contacts, not sell your product. By successfully utilizing lead capture pages, and splash pages you can increase your earnings substantially.

Some marketers even combine elements of splash pages and lead capture pages, with extended sales print. These type of marketing pages are often referred to as ‘Reverse Capture Pages.’ Reverse capture pages offers a ‘teaser’ amount of information to capture the visitors interest, and promises more information and maybe a free product for typing in personal information in to a form. This form of marketing is fairly new on the traffic exchanges and has performed exceptionally well for many marketers. Marketers state that the reason why this method is so effective is because people are tired of giving information about themselves out freely without having any idea what product or service they are going to be receiving information about.

No matter which type of page you decide to design for a traffic exchange, the first thing you need to take into consideration is the professional appearance of the page. There are many different types of splash pages, lead capture pages, and reverse lead capture pages out there, and on a traffic exchange you will be competing with all these different designs. You want to make sure that your own page is up to snuff, and people are going to want to click or type information into your form, and a lot of this starts with basic presentation.

Top marketers will go to guru.com and hire a professional to design their capture or splash pages, other marketers with a fraction of the budget, may use a design service or an automated program. No matter how you go about designing these pages, you must deliver explosive content, and attention grabbing print. Or your advertising efforts on a Traffic Exchange will be minimized.

These are but a few of the benefits for Traffic Exchange Marketing

How Traffic Exchanges Marketing works is, you view other members web pages in exchange for having your own web page viewed.

Every time you view another member’s web page for a period of time (for example 20 seconds) your balance of credits increases. Every time a member views your web page for the same period of time your credit balance decreases.

Almost all of them also allow you to build a network of members you’ve referred. Often your network can extend several levels deep so that as people you refer in turn refer others, you continue to gain more and more credits.

Some Traffic Exchanges also pay out cash incentives when the people in your network upgrade their membership or purchase other forms of advertising that the Traffic Exchange offers such as banner ads. This gives you several ways to benefit from participating in the Traffic Exchange.

When deciding which Traffic Exchange program to join, there are several features to consider:

Credit Ratio – All Traffic Exchanges allow you to earn credits in exchange for viewing other member’s web pages. Look for one that provides a good return on the number of credits you receive for each page you view.

Time Limits – When surfing for credits, most traffic exchanges require you to view a site for a minimum amount of time before you earn a credit. This is normally somewhere between 10 and 30 seconds. The longer you have to view a page means the slower you can surf, but it also means longer that potential customers view your pages.

Anti Cheat Mechanisms – To ensure that a real person is viewing your web site most Traffic Exchanges use anti cheating mechanisms. This usually means that instead of clicking a “Next Site” button you have to click on a specific graphic such as a number, letter, picture or coloured icon from a selection of a few, to proceed to the next site.

Repeated failure to do this correctly means account suspension or termination. Look for a Traffic Exchange with a system like this to ensure that your credits are not wasted on cheaters who never view your page.

Referrals – This is the fastest way to build up your credits. Plus you use the Power Surf Formula to recruit your Network. When someone signs up from your promotional efforts they are placed in your downlink.

Paid/Pro Memberships – Most Traffic Exchanges offer paid memberships as well as free memberships. Normally a paid membership earns you privileges such as an allocation of credits per month plus an increased number of credits for your own surfing and the surfing of your network. Most exchanges also allow you to purchase extra credits.

Bonuses – Many Traffic Exchanges will give you bonus credits for signing up, for surfing a certain number of pages, or for winning competitions or sweepstakes. Look for ones that provide added bonuses and accumulate credits even faster!

She was telling me about this and that programs and a name was mentioned.
As we all no when you have to many conversations going at one time your contacts jump around and you some times slip up and put something in the wrong contact.

Well this is what happened to me yesterday, with out realizing it I posted something in the wrong chat and now it has turned ugly.

I did say oops and that it was not meant for XXXX but he did not believe me.

Sad cuz right after he went on a blab and said some hurtful things. I was devastated that XXX would think I would do such a thing. I respect this persons right to run his business anyhow he sees fit. And I do listen , not always do what is suggested buy I do listen.

Now, this has made me feel like my business will be damaged cuz of this.

I hope that he reads this and knows that it was not meant for him. Cuz I am doing all I can to build a good business the fair and honest way. Yes! its hard, YES! its not easy!Β  But XXX can cause it to break and that is scary.

I am putting this here so that all who use skype can not have this happen to them. Lesson learned watch who your typing to before you hit enter.
